One sentence with one gap, the same for everyone each day. Fill it in, pick how you feel, and see how everyone else answered. A new blank starts at your local midnight.

Fun blanks are shared by default and show the top answers. Reflect blanks are private by default and show how everyone felt, plus a few answers people chose to share. You can change who sees each answer either way.

Answer first, then see everyone's. The reveal opens once today's answer is saved. Results appear after at least two people have answered.

Yes, until midnight that day. You can add or change notes and photos at any time.

Nothing bad. That day's Blankie stays empty. You earn a streak freeze for every 7 days you answer, and you can hold up to 2. A freeze is used automatically to keep your streak going on a day you don't answer.

Only who you choose, with the Friends and Everyone switches under your answer. Everyone shows it in the reveal without your name. Friends shows it to your friends with your name and mood. If both are off, only you see it. If you turn on Recap summaries, your answers also go to our AI provider to write your month's summary.

Only you. Anything in Say more is marked "Only you see this", and it never leaves your phone and your iCloud.

Yes. Open the day and turn off Friends or Everyone, or delete the day. We remove it from our server. Results already counted stay.

Keep iCloud sync on in Settings, then sign in to the same Apple ID on the new phone and open Blankaday. Your journal comes with you. You don't need a Blankaday account for this.

Yes. Go to Settings, then Export journal, and choose a PDF keepsake or a CSV file. The file is made on your phone.

Go to Settings, then Delete account. This removes your name, your friends and your Friends answers, and withdraws your Everyone answers from this phone. Your other devices withdraw theirs when they next sync through iCloud. You can choose to delete your journal from this phone and iCloud too. That can't be undone, so export first if you want a copy.

Only for Friends. You can sign in with Apple, Google or an email code. Your journal stays on your phone and in your iCloud either way.

Share your invite link from the Friends screen. When they open it, they tap Add with your name and sign in, and you're friends. You can have up to 25. You can reset your link in Settings if it ends up somewhere you didn't mean.

Open your Friends list and use the menu next to their name. Removing is immediate, and they aren't told. Reporting someone also removes and blocks them, unless the reason is "Someone might be at risk". Then they stay your friend.

Settings, then Daily blank. You can turn the reminder off or pick a time. If you've already answered, you won't get one that day.

Anonymous counts, like which screens open. Never your answers or notes. You can turn them off in Settings.

A short summary of your month, written by our AI provider. It only runs if you turn it on, and it sends that month's answers, moods and reasons, never notes or photos. You can turn it off in Settings.

It may have broken the community guidelines, or someone reported it. It's still in your journal. You can ask for a review from the screen that tells you it was hidden.

Report it and choose "Someone might be at risk". If someone is in danger right now, call your local emergency number. In the US, call or text 988.
